Wildlife Ambassador Animal Residence
Our biggest project to date is near the finish line and the Animal Ambassadors of the University of Illinois Wildlife Medical Clinic could not be happier. Moving day in August went smoothly and all nine resident animals are thriving in their new enclosures. The building area is still closed to visitors due to Covid-19 but that gives the ambassadors more time to get comfortable in their new spaces and prepare to meet everyone, hopefully in a few months. Until then Wildlife Support Fund could use help in furnishing the outside areas of the new building. The areas directly in front of the enclosures need some decorative grasses, bench seating is needed in the education area and additional lighting and plantings are needed.
Wildlife Support Fund has a target amount of $5000 to complete the building exterior grounds.
